Miss Luxe COVID Safe Plan

We are so excited to be able to open again under the stage 1 restriction easing and would love to share with you our COVID Safe plan.

Miss Luxe COVID SAFE Plan

Effective upon opening on May 19th 2020

As a part of QLD stage 1 restriction easing, Miss Luxe will be re-opening to current clients only while adhering to the following conditions

-        Social distancing rule of 4m2  per person

-        Keeping a distance of 1.5m between clients and staff wherever possible (this is not possible during treatment, please see the below precautions)

-        No more than 10 clients on the premises

-        We will not be accepting walk-in appointments. All appointments must be booked in advance

-        We have a register of clients who visit during this time

-        A mandatory COVID Safe Checklist for Beauty Therapists & Nail Salons is adhered to and kept on the premises

-        We will not be offering cosmetic tattooing during this stage

On top of these government set conditions we are taking extra precautions during this first stage to ensure the safety of our clients and staff which include the following

-        We are only accepting current clients who have been to us previously, no new clients will be taken during this stage

-        We recommend that visitors download the COVIDSafe app and have it running in the background and Bluetooth switched on

-        Only a person with an appointment may come into the salon (no visitors waiting)

-        No cash will be accepted, contactless payments only

-        We are spacing appointments to have ‘buffer’ time to avoid clients crossing paths (we request anyone with an appointment comes at their appointment time, not early or late to assist us in this)

-        Product testers will only be available upon request

-        Thorough cleaning on top of our already strict hygiene standards (please see below)

-        Only two artists will work at any one time with an empty station between

-        Where the 1.5m distance cannot be kept, artists will wear a mask

-        All clients will be asked to use hand sanitiser when they enter the salon

-        Prior to appointments, clients will receive an email to ensure they are aware of the conditions of their visit and make sure they are not unwell

-        Clients who are at all unwell are asked to reschedule their appointment

All of these conditions will be reviewed at stage 2 (June 12th)

Miss Luxe offers cosmetic tattooing which requires us to adhere to very strict hygiene and infection control standards, hold an infection control certificate and pass regular council inspections. All staff have also completed the Australian Government Department of Health Infection Control Training – COVID-19.

The following are the steps that are taken as a part of our strict hygiene protocol

-        Artists use hand sanitiser before and after treatments, between stations (e.g. from front desk to work station, makeup counter to front desk etc.) and between contact with clients

-        Treatment areas and beds are cleaned down with Viraclean (proven to kill the COVID-19 virus, see https://www.ebs.tga.gov.au/servlet/xmlmillr6?dbid=ebs/PublicHTML/pdfStore.nsf&docid=F750C7D90B75763CCA2584C4003CAC47&agid=(PrintDetailsPublic)&actionid=1 ) between every client

-        All surfaces that clients come in contact with are cleaned with Viraclean between every appointment

-        Anti-bacterial hand soap and paper towel is used at a sink in the treatment room, this is available for both staff and clients

We ask that all clients follow the requests of staff and salon signage. All of the above precautions are in place to ensure the protection of everyone who enters Miss Luxe and that we can continue to trade safely.

Thank you for taking the time to read our COVID SAFE plan. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
